I’ve been working alone on this mountain for several years now. Leaving my family was hard enough, but the work doesn’t lack here and we need that money. Nobody in their right mind would accept a job like this, but there was no one more qualified than me. As usual at this time of the year, the cold was burning my skin and the thick snow floor was nerve-wracking to navigate through, especially with the weight of my equipment.
